Our mission

Intra-African trade remains under 20% of the continent's total trade. The barrier is rarely product quality — it is trust, visibility and logistics. UZIA solves all three: hard verification of every business, a marketplace and RFQ engine that surfaces real demand, and a freight desk that moves cargo along ECOWAS, COMESA, EAC and SADC corridors.

Our story

UZIA started after our founders watched a Kenyan macadamia cooperative lose an export contract because the buyer could not confirm the cooperative existed. We built the verification process we wished had existed — legal checks, site inspections, quality audits — and put a marketplace on top of it. Today UZIA members trade under AfCFTA across the continent, mobile-first, with escrow-protected terms.
